I guess your best bet for a sugar substitute would be honey.
Just make sun tea outside with your organic tea. Using a clear glass gallon jar or Sun Tea Jar, fill with water, use 6-8 small bags, or 2-4 large bags of tea. It depends how strong you want your tea and how strong the tea is anyway. Some are stronger than others. If it comes out too strong, that’s all right. Just add more water to your glass when placing over the ice. If it isn’t warm enough where you live to do so, then steep in water that is brought ALMOST to the boiling point. Steep is to let the tea bag, leaves, tea ball set in the water for a set amount of time. Most teas suggest 1-5 minutes, depending upon the strength and such. Steep for as long as the herb suppliers suggest. Cool, sweeten and have it served over ice.
